Self-introduction:
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am looking for some new job opportunities in the field of economics and business studies. I have a rich international experience working in multicultural environment, namely in Poland, the UK, the UAE and China. I have completed two-year contract as an A-levels economics teacher for the Cambridge Centre in Ningbo, China in August 2020. My responsibilities included teaching students of grades 10 to 12 toward IGCSE and A-levels examinations.
I am a holder of PhD certificate in economics, which is already notarized and authenticated by the embassy and Foreign Affairs Ministry, and master’s degree in law. I have completed Teaching English as a Foreign Language certificate (Bristol, England). Learning new things is my passion, since my graduation I have never stopped acquiring knowledge. My recent interest involves studying Chinese. I passed Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi exam level 2 and 3 test in Mandarin language.
Before I started teaching at the current position I had taught economics and business studies in Abu Dhabi, the UAE. I also worked in Shenzhen China as a manager of the international department at Winnerway, Long Island American School in Dongguan, China, where I taught SAT mathematics, economics and English. Earlier, I spent three years in China, lecturing at university teaching business English, oral English, and economics.
Each country I moved to was a challenge to me, however I tried my best to be successful in a given area. In the UK I set up my company becoming self-employed. In China, after three years of teaching I became a manager of the international department. I do believe that my teaching may bring the satisfaction to you and your students. In the Cambridge Centre, where I have worked recently, my students improved their results above the three-year average.
As a teacher I implement technology supporting formative assessment into teaching. Last year I took part in Dipont Education group conference where I organised and hosted the workshops: “Technology in the classroom” and “Visible Learning by John Hatti”.
Thank you for the time spent on reading my cover letter. I am looking forward to your reply.
