I believe my educational background both qualifies me and makes me suitable for teaching in an international school. I also would be suitable and philosophically prepared for a Reggio, Montessori or Steiner/Waldorf school, even though I haven\'t been formally trained in those approaches. I have followed what might be called the Comprehensible Input movement since the late 1970\'s, having had one of its founders as one of my professors at UC Irvine, CA, and teaching in the Los Angeles and SF Bay areas in the late 70\'s early 80\'s, as well as in the California desert and San Diego in the 80\'s, 90\'s and 2000\'s. I was trained in SDAIE, which I apply greatly to my work teaching English. I am NOT a textbook teacher.
