Tanjirul Islam was born in the district of Lakshmipur, Chittagong, in Bangladesh.

Mr. Islam has obtained a Master of Laws ( LL.M. in International Law) from Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China; he got 87% marks average, and his LL.M. dissertation is on Immigration law. He has four publications regarding immigration law and space law in several law journals and national newspapers. Mr. Islam also studied for Master of Laws (LL.M.) at Jagannath University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Prior, he obtained a 4-year Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) with a CGPA of 3.68 on a scale of 4.00. Before he passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (HSC) in Science, he passed the Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSC) with a GPA of 4.69 out of 5.00 in Science. Mr. Islam was an Apprentice Advocate at Dhaka Judge Court in Bangladesh. He desires to continue his further research and practice in International Law, Immigration law, Space Law, and Tort Law
